So Wildfire Studios has now for sure gone their separate ways as the below mail from Joel Finch explains, but they are not disappearing without one last final release, it is the sixth Balls of Steel table - Devil's Island. The table is now finished and ready for release (extra work and hours have been put in to have it ready for a November release, so it should hopefully come out any day now)!

  "Wildfire Studios has indeed decided to go our separate ways, although you may see the name still used by one of our members (Darren), as he is still keen on pursuing games deals. I am now doing website design and development, and Stephen is looking to travel.

  We have, however, finished the Devil's Island table, as we always said we would. We did a deal through Expert Software, a subsidiary of Activision, for a modest advance to complete the product. After a nightmare crunch time to get it ready for a November release, it's finally done! :)"
